For the price it’s an amazing deal. 2 piece rail took a little finesse to get smooth. Unless you have the ability to center on studs and cut the rail to size you should use the backboard. I used a 1 x 3 and it looks amazing. Spend the extra $12 and get a nice guide for the bottom.
